Independent US Healthcare Provider Directory & Public Medical Database Patient Guides

Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Washington, Nevada, and Connecticut consumer health data privacy notice

Effective date: October 11, 2026

T-MedInfo is an independent directory run by a private individual, not a separate company. This policy explains how information about your use of t-medinfo.com may reveal health interests or attempts to find care. It supplements our Privacy Policy, including for visitors protected by Washington, Nevada, and Connecticut privacy laws.

What we collect and why

We receive information directly from you and automatically from your browser or device:

  • Pages and searches: URLs of pages you view, including specialties and guide topics, and terms you enter in our search. We use these to deliver pages and search results. Search terms are not stored in user profiles.
  • Technical information: IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device details, cookies, and advertising identifiers. These help deliver and secure the site, remember choices, measure visits, and support advertising.
  • Information you submit: reviews, photos, and messages may contain health information if you include it. We use submissions to publish and moderate reviews, answer messages, and handle requests. Please do not submit medical records or private health details.

These categories can become consumer health data when linked to you and revealing health information; viewing a page does not establish that you have a condition. The legal definitions differ by state. See Washington's definition, Nevada's definition, and Connecticut's definition.

Who receives information

Our hosting provider and Cloudflare process requested pages and technical information for delivery and security. Google receives page-use and device information and online identifiers through Analytics and AdSense for measurement, advertising, and consent management, subject to the applicable browser choices. Google and its advertising vendors may collect information over time and across websites. See Google's explanation.

Our Google Analytics configuration turns off Google signals and ad personalization signals, so Google Analytics data is not used to personalize ads and is not linked to information from visitors' Google accounts. This describes Analytics; AdSense advertising is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Published reviews and display names are public. Hosting and email providers, including Cloudflare and Resend, process messages and replies. Other disclosures, including legally required disclosures, are described in our Privacy Policy. We have no affiliated companies receiving this data.

We do not sell personal information for money or sell it to data brokers. Advertising disclosures may nevertheless qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" under state privacy laws, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Your rights and requests

Depending on applicable law, you can ask to confirm processing, access your data, obtain recipient information, correct inaccuracies, delete data, withdraw consent to collection or sharing, or stop collection, sharing, or sale. Washington access requests include recipient contact information. Connecticut also provides portability and targeted-advertising opt-out rights. See WA rights, NV rights, and CT rights.

Email support@true-medinfo.com or use our contact form, with "Privacy request" as the subject. State which right you want to use. You do not need a new account. We may need information to verify your request; please do not send medical records. You can use these channels to request corrections and withdraw consent. For browser advertising choices, use Do Not Sell or Share. That advertising choice is not a request to delete data or stop all collection.

We respond without undue delay within the applicable deadline: 45 days after receipt in Washington and Connecticut; 45 days after authentication in Nevada. Where permitted, an additional 45 days requires notice and a reason. Nevada deletion is due within 30 days after authentication, subject to its backup exception. Connecticut requires consent-based processing to stop as soon as practicable, within 15 days after withdrawal. These are statutory deadlines, not promises of instant automated deletion. If we refuse a request, reply with "Appeal" in the subject. Where these laws apply, we provide a written decision and reasons within 45 days in Washington or Nevada, or 60 days in Connecticut. If an appeal is denied, we provide a way to contact the relevant Attorney General. WA appeals · NV appeals · CT appeals
